Helen M. Huscroft, 75, of South Pymatuning Twp., passed away following a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, in West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Mrs. Huscroft was born July 3, 1945, in Greenville, a daughter of the late Thomas and Sophie (Tomczak) Young. She was a 1963 graduate of Reynolds High School.

Prior to becoming a homemaker, she was employed more than ten years at the former Packard Electric Corp., Warren, OH.

Helen was a member of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, Hermitage.

She enjoyed traveling, shopping and above all, loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel Huscroft, whom she married July 20, 1968; a daughter, Lisa Nemtz and her husband Raymond, of Howland, OH; a son, Daniel Huscroft and his wife Kelly, of Vienna, OH; five grandchildren, twins, Alyssa and Alexis Huscroft, Nate Huscroft, and Drew and Nick Nemtz; a sister, Delores Gorsuch and her husband James, of West Salem Twp.; and a brother, Robert Young and his wife Debra, of Transfer.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Young and his wife Donna.

The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, 2230 Highland Rd., Hermitage, PA 16148.

Funeral Divine Liturgy will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, in the church, with Rev. Kevin E. Marks, pastor, officiating.
