Helen P. Harrison, 90, a longtime resident of Hermitage, PA, passed away peacefully early Sunday afternoon, September 22, 2024, in Greystone Manor, Fredonia, PA.

Mrs. Harrison was born September 25, 1933, on the family farm in Crawford Co., PA, a daughter of the late Alden and Vera (Bishop) Pierce and graduated from Stoneboro High School.

In addition to being a dedicated homemaker, Helen sold insurance for Metropolitan Life. Later in her life, she and her husband, Thomas, wintered in Orlando, FL, where she enjoyed working for Disney.

Helen married her high school sweetheart, Thomas W. Harrison, on June 12, 1954, and he preceded her in death on November 13, 2010. They traveled extensively throughout the country in their GMC Motorhome alongside fellow members of the GMC Club.

Helen also enjoyed card club night with her dear friends, Shirley, Louise, and Carrie.

She is survived by two sons, David T. Harrison (Ellen), Greenville, PA, and Gary M. Harrison (Keenie), West Middlesex, PA; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by a sister, Cynthia Carrera; and two brothers, Ray and Paul Pierce.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours.

A private graveside service will be held by the family.

Interment: Oak Hill Cemetery, Sandy Lake, PA.
