Harry E. Arbogast of Sharon passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, August 4, 2015, in his home. He was 75. Mr. Arbogast was born July 4, 1940 in Clay, W. Virginia, the youngest of eight children to Nicodemus Edward and Lottie (Clark) Arbogast. He was educated in West Virginia and was employed as a union carpenter for 10 years in Florida where he worked at Walt Disney World. Harry moved to the area in 1975 and was an over the road truck driver for Chadderton Trucking, Inc., Sharon, and the former Bristol Trucking, Transfer. He was an avid bowler and belonged to many leagues throughout the years. Harry will be remembered by many as a sweet and funny man. Surviving are: his wife of 42 years, the former Cynthia G. Leonard, whom he married December 18, 1972, at the residence; five daughters, Tammy Durbin and her husband Edward, Farrell; Carrie Stevens and her husband Tim, Canton, Ohio; Katrina Coburn and her husband Caleb, California; Jennifer Scarmack and her fiancé Daniel Honaberger, II, Sharon; and Lottie Kimble and her husband Joseph, Sharon; eight grandchildren; a great grandson; a brothers; and two sisters. Harry was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Harry Edward Arbogast, Jr.; three brothers; and a sister. Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Friday, August 7, 2015, in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with Jack Gilchrest of the Church of Christ, Hermitage, officiating. Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage.
