Obituary

Gerald Tucci, 84, formerly of Hermitage, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2019, in The Grove at New Castle.

Mr. Tucci was born December 13, 1934, in Mercer, a son of the late Augustino and Annie Bell (Beebe) Tucci. He attended the Old East Elementary one room school on Valley Road in Mercer.

Gerald served in the US Army and was stationed in Alaska during the Korean conflict.

He was employed for 44 years by the former Sawhill Tubular Plant, Wheatland, retiring January 1, 1997. Gerald also worked on and off as a security guard for many local companies.

He was a member of the American Legion, Post #432, Wheatland.

An avid outdoorsman, Gerald enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also bowled in many leagues in his younger years.

His wife, the former Carol Clark, whom he married May 5, 1962, passed away February 3, 1997.

He is survived by two sons, Bradley C. Tucci and his wife Christine, of Hermitage, and Brian R. Tucci and his wife Donna, of Melbourn, FL; four grandchildren, Ginnie and Terry Snyder, Breanna Tucci and Tyler George.

In addition to his parents and wife, Gerald was preceded in death by a daughter, Robin Snyder; two grandchildren, Brian and Brytney Tucci; and eight brothers and sisters.

The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the American Legion, Post #432, 2 Cherry St., Wheatland, PA 16161.

There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Interment: Mt. Washington Cemetery, Jefferson Twp.
