George Dobrozdravic, 99, of Sharon, passed away Thursday morning, May 1, 2025, in St. John XXIII Home, Hermitage.
Mr. Dobrozdravic was born on September 23, 1925, in Windber, PA, a son of the late John and Anna (Saban) Dobrozdravic. He was a 1943 graduate of Sharon High School, and was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Army during WWII in the 542nd Anti-Aircraft Artillery and Automatic Weapons Battalion. A proud veteran, he enjoyed history and was extremely patriotic.
Following his honorable discharge, he began working at the former Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corp., retiring in 1985 as a forklift operator.
George was a member of St. Anthony's Church, Sharon, where he showcased his green thumb and gardening expertise by planting the church flowers.
A handyman, he was not afraid to tackle a project and even worked on his vehicles.
His wife, the former Mary Helen Raykovich, whom he married on April 30, 1949, passed away on May 30, 2011.
He is survived by a daughter, Nancy Dobrozdravic, of Palm Springs, CA; and a son, Thomas Moore, of Eden Prairie, MN; and a nephew, Jerome Dobrozdravic (Carolyn), of Clark, PA.
In addition to his parents and wife, George was preceded in death by a son, David Moore; and a brother, Peter Dobrozdravic.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery, C/O St. Anthony's Church, 804 Idaho St., Sharon, PA 16146.

Funeral service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. Tuesday, in the chapel, with Rev. James Power, officiating.
