Obituary
Gary Ray Davensizer, Sr. of 322 Sterling Ave. Apt. I 104, passed away at 8:25 a.m. Sunday January 22, 2012 in his residence. He was 60.
Mr. Davensizer was born January 8, 1952, in Hollidaysburg, PA., a son of Robert and Marian McNally Davensizer.
He served in the United State Army and received many awards. He was honorably discharged in 1973.
Gary was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. Most of all, Gary enjoyed spending time with this family.
Survivors include: his wife, the former Cheryl Lynn Heath, whom he married June 10, 1972; 2 sons, Gary Ray Jr. and Tim and his wife Jennifer Davensizer of Mercer, PA; 4 siblings, Dora and her husband Ronald Clark; Robert Davensizer and his wife Donna; Paul Davensizer; and Cathryn and her husband Michael Walterich; 2 grandchildren, Shelby and Dalton Hawn.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, James Davensizer; 2 nieces, Jaimie Kratochvil and Brandy Lynn Millin Davensizer.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Sharon Baptist Church 1531 George St. Ext. Hermitage, PA 16148.
Arrangements are entrusted to the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 1090 E. State St. Sharon, PA 16146.
