Fredrick M. Palmer, formerly of Sharon, passed away peacefully under hospice care in White Cliff Nursing Home, Hempfield Township, where he was a resident for five years.
He was 36.
Freddie was born March 4, 1979, in Bradford, PA, a son of Donald and Patricia Biers Palmer.
He was a 1998 graduate of Sharon High School and was a member of its track team.
Freddie enjoyed sports and played little league baseball all the way thru the senior division.
He was also a diehard Steeler fan.
Prior to his illness, Fred was employed by McDonald's and Nugent Convalescent Home in its dietary department.
Surviving are his parents, Don and Patty Palmer, Sharon; two brothers, Anthony Palmer, Farrell; and Andrew Palmer and his wife Sarah, Tucson, AZ; four nephews, Ryan, Clayton, Christopher and Quentin; and two nieces, Nicole and Victoria.
Freddie was preceded in death by two sisters, Beth and Tonya Keim.
There are no calling hours.
A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
