Frederick 'Fuzzy' K. Dillon formerly of 52 S. Mercer Ave. Sharpsville, passed away at 4:35 p.m. Sunday, April 25, 2010 in Rochester Manor and Villa in Rochester, PA. after an extended illness. He was 74.

Mr. Dillon was born in Sharon, PA on September 5, 1935, a son of Frederick I. and Mary Ellen Griffin Dillon.

He was a 1953 graduate of Sharon High School.

Fred was employed by General American Transportation Company for 29 years, where he began as a welder and retired as a clerk of the accounting department.

Mr. Dillon was a member of the Church of the Sacred Heart.

Survivors include: 2 brothers, Robert and his wife Ruth Dillon of Brookfield, OH and Eugene and his wife Denise Dillon of Hermitage, PA; 4 nieces, Jodi Sucharski, Janell Dresel, Paula Dillon, and Amy Gargiulo; 2 nephews, Robert and Gary Dillon. He is also survived by numerous great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Dresel.

Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 1090 E. State St. Sharon, PA 16146

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the Church of the Sacred Heart, with Rev. Henry Andrae.

Internment will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery.
