A private celebration of life service will be held for Frank L. Takash Jr., Hermitage, who after a brief illness passed away peacefully of natural causes at 11:27 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013, with his loving family at his side in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was 58. Mr. Takash was born Nov. 30, 1954, in Sharpsville, a son of Frank L. Takash Sr. and Luella Mae Nieder Takash. He was a 1973 graduate of Sharpsville High School. Frank was a certified commercial account specialist for Advanced Auto Parts and previously worked for fifteen years in the same capacity for Auto Zone in Sharon. He was extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of cars and was the "go-to guy" when any of his friends or family needed help with their automobiles. He was also a push truck operator at Sharon Speedway for three years. His love for cars was only surpassed by his love for his family. Frank was an avid reader and enjoyed riding his bike, going to Conneaut Lake and working in his yard. A Free and Accepted Mason, he was a member of the former 668 Lodge in Sharon. Surviving are: his wife, the former Lea S. Harakal, whom he married May 17, 1986; two daughters, Sabrina A. Takash, Hermitage, and her fiancé Brandon Rhodes; and Stephanie A. Takash, at home, and her fiancé Paul T. Rayl III; a granddaughter, Maliea Takash; a sister, Deborah "Debbie" Takash and her companion Tom, Lorain, Ohio; a brother, Christian "Chris" Takash and his companion Pam, Raleigh, N.C.; a niece, Laurie Deedle; a nephew, Jarett Takash; and brothers- and sisters-in-law.
