Frank Mistretta, Jr. of Sharpsville passed away peacefully at
7:02 p.m.
Wednesday, November 18, 2015, in his home, after an extended illness.
He was 80.
Mr. Mistretta was born July 10, 1935, in Sharon, the only child of Frank Mistretta, Sr. and Marie Grace Conti Mistretta.
He was a 1954 graduate of Sharon High School and served with the Navy.
An accomplished car salesman for more than 50 years, Frank began working in the late 1950's at the former Campana Pontiac in downtown Sharon.
He retired from Stupka Pontiac, Hermitage, where he worked the majority of his career, and was inducted into the prestigious Pontiac Master Sales Guild Hall of Fame.
He was a member of St. Joseph Church, Sharon.
Frank enjoyed an active lifestyle and loved having fun.
He was an avid bowler and belonged to the Shenango Valley Automotive League for many years as well as two senior leagues at Del Tura Country Club in N. Ft. Myers, Florida, where he and his wife spent their winters for the past 16 years.
He was also a longtime softball player and a member of St. Bartholomew team in the former Shenango Valley Church League and the Over-the-Hill Gang team.
He continued to play softball with the Del Tura Amigo's for 14 years while wintering in Florida and also enjoyed golfing.
He was a fan of the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns.
Frank was a founding member and past president of the Sharpsville High School Booster's Club; and was a former member and officer of the Sons of Italy, Sharon.
Surviving are: his wife at home, the former Norma J. Rimko, whom he married July 21, 1956 in Church of the Sacred Heart, Sharon; a daughter, Cynthia M. Infiesto and her husband Carl S., Ft. Myers, FL; two sons, Frank Mistretta, III, Sharpsville; and Dr. John P. Mistretta, Warren, Ohio; and four grandchildren, Amanda and Devyn Mistretta; and Nicolas and Adam Infiesto.
He also leaves two brothers-in-law, Ronald Rimko and his wife Mary, Hilton Head, SC; and John Rimko and his wife Karen, Hermitage; and a sister-in-law, Patricia Arribi and her husband Richard, Palisades Park, NJ.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Sharon Regional Hospice and Palliative Care, 1955 Shenango Valley Freeway, Hermitage, PA 16148.

until the time of service on Saturday, November 21, 2015, in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.
Funeral service will be at
4 p.m.
Saturday
in the funeral home with Rev. Joseph Marzano, officiating.
