Frank G. Flinn, Jr. of Hermitage passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016, in his residence. He was 86.
Frank was born August 7, 1930, in Sharon, a son of Frank and Helen (Dubois) Flinn.
He was a graduate of Sharon High School and served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Mindoro. Frank retired as a Lieutenant from the Sharon Fire Department where he worked for many years.
He was a lifelong member of Church of the Sacred Heart, Sharon.
Surviving are: two sisters, Georgina Kardos, Wheatland; and Patricia Parcetich, Sharon; and several nieces and nephews.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Mary Nugent; a brother, Paul J. Flinn; and a longtime companion, Lucille Vanek.
There are no calling hours.
Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Monday (10-17-16) in Church of the Sacred Heart, Sharon, with Rev. Henry Andrae, pastor, as celebrant.
Interment: St. Mary's Cemetery, Hermitage.
