Busco
February 5, 1931 – March 7, 2021
Frank J. Busco, a 42-year resident of Hermitage, passed away at 10:46 a.m. Sunday, March 7, 2021, in Shenango on the Green, New Wilmington. He was 90.
Mr. Busco was born February 5, 1931, in Farrell, a son of the late Sam and Rose (Leon) Busco. A lifelong area resident, he was a graduate of Farrell High School and served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army Signal Corps. during the Korean War.
Frank retired in 1993 as a steel worker from Sharon Steels former Farrell plant.
He was a longtime active member of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Farrell.
Frank loved to dance and spent many weekends dancing with his wife and friends. He also enjoyed traveling and tending to his beautiful garden.
Surviving are his wife, the former Elizabeth D'Angelo, whom he married August 23, 1980; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Frank was preceded in death by a sister, Antoinette Grande; and a brother, Nick Busco.
Calling hour will be from 1 p.m. until the time of Mass on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Farrell.
Funeral Mass will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, in the church, with Rev. Matthew Ruyechan, pastor, as celebrant.
Interment: St Anthony's Cemetery, Hermitage.
