A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday (4-8-10) for Eugenia "Jennie" M. Misik, 322 Woodland Ave., Farrell, Pa., who passed away peacefully at 9:17 p.m. Saturday (4-3-10) in the hospitalof St. Elizabeth's Health Center, Youngstown, of natural causes surrounded by her family. She was 90.
Mrs. Misik was born on August 3, 1919 in Farrell, Pa., the daughter of George and Lena Coros Moldovan.
She graduated from Farrell High School in 1937.
A homemaker, she was a long time member of St. Ann's Church in Farrell and belonged to their Altar Society. She also was a "longtimer" in the Thursday Noon Al-Anon Family Group. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, bowling, playing cards and walking at the mall.
Her husband Michael J. Misik whom she married on July 9, 1944, passed away on October 8, 1996.
She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Stanton and her husband Edward and Helaine Ferringer and her husband Howard, all of Hermitage, and one son Michael "Jerry" Misik and his wife Kay, Tega Cay, S.C. and her 10 grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Ann Crompton, and three brothers, George, Charles, and Sam Moldovan.
Memorial Contributions may be made in her memory to the Prince of Peace Center 502 Darr Ave Farrell, Pa. 16121.
Calling hours: 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday (4-7-10) in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. 1090 E. State St. Sharon where a rosary will be recited at 6:45 p.m.

Services: Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday (4-8-10) at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima-St. Ann's Church, 601 Roemer Blvd., Farrell, with Rev. Donald E. Berdis, pastor of the church as celebrant. A brief prayer service will be held at 9:45 a.m. in the funeral home prior to leaving for the church.
Interment: St. Michael's Byzantine Cemetery, Hermitage, Pa.
