Eugene "Jack" Likens, 67, of Hermitage, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024, in his home.

Jack was born on October 24, 1956, a son of the late Thurman and Ora Jean (Bryant) Likens and was a graduate of Sharon High School. He attended trade school where he learned auto mechanic skills, which he used to help countless people with vehicle issues.

His passion was working on vehicles and never missed a detail when restoring old cars. His garage truly was his happy place. However, his most precious moments were spent with his great-nephews, Mason and Grayson Schell and Gianni Mitchell.

He is survived by three sisters, Audrey "Gerri" Likens, Sharpsville, Paula Likens, and Cathy Daniels and her Husband Ron, all of Sharon; two brothers, Thurman "Butch" Likens and his wife Rose, Transfer, and Joe Likens and his wife Connie, Lowellville, OH; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Calling hour will be noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday (03/20/2024) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 East State St., Sharon.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. in the funeral home, with Rev. Russell Penn, Jr., officiating.

Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage.
