Ethel Lucille Elford

Ethel Lucille Elford, 87, of Clark, PA, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2026, in her home.

Ms. Elford was born on October 8, 1938, in Leesburg, PA, a daughter of the late Arnold and Verda (Holliday) Jackson. She was a 1956 graduate of Mercer High School.

She worked at the former G.C. Murphy in downtown Sharon until about 1968. Later, Ethel was employed for nearly 17 years as a greeter at Walmart, Hermitage.

Ethel was a member of Family Life Church, Hermitage.

She enjoyed the outdoors, whether it was camping, riding motorcycles, working in her garden, boating or skiing. Ethel was also an exceptional cook and baker.

She is survived by three children, Martin (Nancy) Elford, and Daniel (Cindy) Elford, all of Hermitage, and Cindy Elford, of Lake Wales, FL; ten grandchildren, Tanya (Alan) Carpec, Krystal (Tony) Gioan, Della (Jason Palmer) Elford, Billi (Keith) Fustos, Casey (Brian) White, Melissa (Dominic) Currie, Kenneth (Sue) Forsythe, Jessica Forsythe, Ashlie (Steve Struhar) Ricciardi, and Matthew (Alyssa) Ricciardi; and 24 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Joann McGarrity, Hermitage.

In addition to her parents, Ethel was preceded in death by three brothers, Daryl, Clem and Harold Jackson; and a great-granddaughter, Emma Rose Struhar.

The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to Family Life Church, 1455 S. Keel Ridge Rd., Hermitage, PA 16148.
