Esther A. Chupak, 93, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, July 20, 2024, in Clepper Manor, Sharon, where she resided for the past two and a half years. She formerly lived in Morefield Apartments in Hermitage.
Ms. Chupak was born on May 29, 1931, in Pulaski, a daughter of the late William Trefan and Madalena (Zubal) Chupak. She attended a one-room school house for nine years in Bethel and graduated from Hickory High School in 1949. She had many classmates that she remained friends with and was active in planning her class reunions.
Her first job was at the former Imperial Dry Cleaners, Sharon. She was also employed by the former Stupka Pontiac, Hermitage, and was later by Sharon Auto Body and Glass. In her later years and until she retired, Esther worked at Reed and Reed Accounting Services, Hermitage.
She was an active member of St. John's Orthodox Church, Hermitage, where she was active in the church's bowling league. In her youth, she was a member of the ACRY youth group.
Esther loved traveling with friends, holidays with her family and for many years made ceramics. For more than 20 years, she was involved with local elections and previously served as Judge of Elections. Additionally, she was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by one sister, Sophia Blanar, Hartsville, OH; many nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and nephews; and one Godchild.
In addition to her parents, Esther was preceded in death by five sisters, Mary Rawe, Lillian Hurchanik, Rose Wasson, Anne Kudelko, and Julie Chupak; and six brothers, John, Bill, Frank, Joe, George and Harry Chupak.
The family would like to thank the staff at Clepper Manor and Hospice for their compassion and care for Esther.

Funeral service will be immediately following in the church, with Rev. David Mastroberte, officiating.
Interment: Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage.
