Estelle M. "Baby Face" Taylor, 72, of New Castle passed away the morning of Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at Overlook Medical Clinic. Estelle was born in New Castle on Nov. 7, 1940, to the late Elvie and Berniece Mitchell Johnson. She was a graduate of New Castle High School. Estelle was a homemaker and loved to cook and bake. But her greatest joy in life was helping people whenever she was able. She is survived by her husband, Eugene Taylor of New Castle; two daughters, Bobbi (Dexter) Boggs of Ohio and Jodi Steward of New Castle; two granddaughters, Brittany Jones and Briahna Steward of New Castle; a grandson, Kenneth Greene Jr. of Ohio; two great-grandsons, Antwan and Antonio Thomas of New Castle; an aunt, Lucy (Robert) Mason and an uncle, Red Mitchell of Virginia. Besides her parents, Estelle was preceded in death by a grandson, Antoine Hodges; a brother James W. "Muffy" Mitchell; and her in-laws, Wilbur and Willie Mae Taylor, Wilbur Taylor Jr., Joyce Johnson and Lorraine Fuqua. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 20, 2013, at St. Paul Baptist Church, 616 W. North St. A going home service will be celebrated at noon Saturday at the church, conducted by the Rev. Robert H. Mills, pastor. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, 111 W. Falls St.
