Estella M. Cox,70 of 508 Bell Ave.,passed away the evening of June 24,2009 in Jameson hospital.
She was born on January 1,1939, to the late Luthur and Edna Smith Cunningham. She married James E. Cox on August 10,1974 and he preceded her in death on July 14,1992. Estella retired in 2001 from Universal Rundle Corporation as a whirlpool tester after twenty nine years of service.She later worked at WalMart for four years in the soft lines department.She was a 1957 graduate of Bridgeport High School in Bridgeport,Ohio. She enjoyed playing computer games,working on Jigsaw puzzles and doing crossword puzzles.She was a former member of the Second Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law,Vista and Harold "Tubby" Johnson of New Castle and Kay King of Connecticut.Two grandchildren,Chastity Booker of Pittsburgh and Jon King of New Castle.Seven great Grandchildren also survive her.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 6 to 8 P.M.and on Monday from 10 to 11 A.M. at the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory,Inc. 111 W. Falls St.

Besides her parents and husband she preceded in death by one brother,Luthur Cunningham and two sisters,Virginia Carter and Violet Miller.
