Erna Sue Redick

Erana Sue Redick, 66, of Hermitage, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2026, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Ms. Redick was born on September 7, 1960, in New Castle, a son of the late Harold and Marilyn (Ringer) Redick. She attended New Castle High School and earned her licensed practical nursing certification at Lawrence County Vo-Tech.

Erana worked as an LPN in geriatrics at various nursing homes.

She loved to go out with her friends, but above all she cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her three children, Kansas Taylor (Roddrick), of Boardman, OH, Kara Page, of Sharon, and Hydro Page, of Sharon; two nieces whom she raised, Marlene Lyles, of TX, and Latonnia Lyles, of New Castle; a special nephew and caregiver, Jesse Redick; nine grandchildren, KiAundre and Josiah Page, Whyspur Richardson, Timothy and Indonesia Case, Robrick Taylor, Kiara, Donald, and Donelle Jones; and two great-grandchildren, Karter Newell and Austyn Case. Also surviving are three sisters, Gladys “Kaye” (Tom) Thomas, of Jackson City, PA, Cindy Dillow (Paul), of Salem, OR, and Charlene Redick, of Hermitage; and two brothers, Robert Redick, of Salem, OR, and Harold Redick, Jr. (Roberta), of New Castle.

In addition to her parents, Erana was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Rose; and four brothers, Ronald Redick, Harold Redick, David Redick and Lloyd Redick.
