Obituary

Eric Sean Elliott, 49, of New Wilmington, passed away on Friday morning, December 1, 2017, in his residence. He was born September 7, 1968, in New Castle, a son of the late Thomas C. Elliott, II, and Mary Shuttleworth Elliott. Eric was a 1986 graduate of Wilmington Area High School and then matriculated to Slippery Rock University where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.

He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, the former Christine M. Pavlov, whom he married on May 11, 1991.

Eric owned and operated Elliott Insurance Services in New Wilmington. He was a member of the Pennsylvania Club, New Castle Country Club and Edwards Golf League. Eric was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend to all. All would agree that Eric was the "life of the party" and knew how to make anyone laugh. He loved his family, the outdoors, golfing and spending time coaching his kids' youth sports teams, and will always be his children's number one fan. He will be loved and missed, forever and always.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Alanna C. Elliott and future son-in-law, Davis Smith, of New Wilmington; a son, Eric T. Elliott and his wife Rachael, of New Wilmington; two sisters, Moira Elliott, Light House Point, FL, and Margrethe Elliott Rose and her husband, Scott, of New Wilmington; four brothers, Thomas Elliott, III, and his wife Patti, New Castle, James Elliott and his wife, Debra, Volant, Stephen Elliott and his wife, Bonnie, New Wilmington, and Quentin Elliott and his wife, Olof Sigmarsdottir, Essex, CT. In addition to his parents, Eric was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Ada L. Pavlov.

Calling hours for family and dearest friends will be held privately.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday (12-5-17) in St. Mary's Church, celebrated by Rev. Zachary Galiyas, parochial vicar.

Burial will follow in Oak Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Eric's name to the Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, Inc. at 1117 Country Club Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 111 W. Falls St.
