Obituary
Emily L. Brown, 20, of New Castle passed away unexpectedly the morning of Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016, in her residence.
Emily was born on Aug. 2, 1996, in Ellwood City, a daughter of Elizabeth Brown.
She was raised in New Castle and was a 2014 graduate of Union High School.
Emily was formerly employed by DON Services Inc. in New Castle, and worked as a home health aide.
She was a member of Mary, Mother of Hope Parish, St. Mary's Church.
She loved music and being around children.
Emily was always a very social girl, who enjoyed spending time with her friends.
Surviving are her mother, Elizabeth Brown; her brother, Adam Brown; and her grandmother, Lorraine Brown, all of New Castle. Also surviving are her three aunts, Sarah Brown of New Castle, Meghan Davies on Canton, Ohio, and Abbie Rosta, Florence, Arizona; as well as numerous cousins, family members and friends.
Emily was preceded in death by her grandfather, Wallace Brown.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 111 W. Falls St., New Castle. All services will be private. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
