Elizabeth Santiago, 65, of New Castle, formerly of Puerto Rico, passed away July 17, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Elizabeth was born March 13, 1960, in New York City, NY, a daughter of the late Antonio Santiago and Laura Esther Virrella. She attended the American University of Puerto Rico, where she obtained her associates degree in secretarial science.

She was always full of joy, endlessly playing jokes on her friends and family, and always looking her best. She was also an incredible cook and baker, known for making meals to bring the family together. Elizabeth will be loved and remembered every day.

Surviving are her three daughters, Lizbeth Vasquez and her husband Alexi Nieves, New Castle, Laura Vasquez, New Castle, and Esther Roman, Puerto Rico; a sister, Deborah Corchado, Philadelphia, PA; and five grandchildren, Jacksier, Jacksierys, Eriednell, Xacdry, and Isaias.

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her sister, Zoraya Corchado.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services.
