Funeral will be Wednesday for Elizabeth "Liz" Peterson, Greenville, who passed away peacefully at 6:30 a.m. Saturday (5-23-15) at her sister's residence, where she was being cared for. She was 67. Liz was born March 6, 1948 in Mill Run, Pa., a daughter of Sherman and Bertha Jefferies Burnsworth. A homemaker, she enjoyed recording movies at home, reading, spending time with her grandchildren, and, in years past, she enjoyed creating ceramic pieces. Liz is survived by: her daughter April Stevenson and her husband, Jesse, Greenville; two sons, Richard Brinker and his wife, Brenda, Sharon, and Robert Burnsworth and his wife, Lynn, Grove City; her siblings: Diana Pegg and her husband, Ernie, West Middlesex; Nancy Shipley, Somerset, Pa.; Linda Cramer and her husband, Ken, Jones Mills, Pa.; Tony Burnsworth, Texas; Bertha "Louise" Tuchalski, Mill Run; Sherry Burnsworth, Connellsville, Pa.; and Charles Burnsworth, Somerset; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her sisters, Jenny Miller, Viola Shipley and two infants; and her brothers, Glen and Ernie Burnsworth and an infant.
