Elizabeth M. Neininger

Elizabeth “Liz” M. Neininger, 69, of Slippery Rock, PA, passed away unexpectedly early Friday morning, May 1, 2026, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.

Liz was born April 18, 1957, in Fort Wayne, IN, a daughter of the late John and Doris (Graham) Goodman. She was raised in New Castle, attended St. Mary’s Parochial Grade School, and later graduated from New Castle High School.

A dedicated homemaker, Liz worked as a waitress during her younger years. She enjoyed knitting and watching television, particularly Let's Make a Deal, Antiques Roadshow, or the daily news.

Liz is survived by her son, Dominick Pagley, of Ellwood City, her longtime fiancé, Ronald Norris, with whom she made her home in Slippery Rock, PA; a granddaughter, Lydia Pagley; two stepsons, Jonothan and William Norris; three sisters, Patricia Dudley (Harry), Margaret Harruff, and Barbara Cameron; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. on Monday (5-4-26) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 111 W. Falls St., New Castle.

A blessing service will immediately follow at 5 p.m. in the funeral home, with Rev. Deacon John J. Carran, officiating.
