Elizabeth S. Jagatich of Hermitage passed away at 9:47 p.m. Monday, November 14, 2016, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System, after an extended illness. She was 89.
Ms. Jagatich was born June 26, 1927, in Sharon, a daughter of Frank S. and Helen B. Zdlar Jagatich.
She was a 1945 graduate of Hickory High School, Hermitage.
Elizabeth was employed by the former Northwestern Airlines in Washington D.C. where she worked as a reservationist. She enjoyed the many opportunities her job gave her such as traveling and meeting dignitaries from around the country.
She was a member of Church of the Sacred Heart, Sharon.
Elizabeth enjoyed being outdoors planting flowers, gardening and working on her lawn.
Surviving are: a sister, Rose J. Forney, Hermitage; and several nieces and nephews, including her beloved niece, Cynthia M. Simpson, M.D., Springfield, IL.
Besides her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by three sisters, Frances Cesario, Anna V. Jagatich and Helen Jagatich; and three brothers, Joseph J., Ferdinand S. and Michael Jagatich.

A private committal service will be held by Rev. Henry Andrea, pastor of Church of the Sacred Heart, Sharon.
Interment: St. Mary's Cemetery, Hermitage.
