Elizabeth Busco

Elizabeth Busco, 93, of Hermitage, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, in Clepper Manor, Sharon.

Mrs. Busco was born on January 3, 1933, in Italy, a daughter of the late Francesco and Lucia (Marchese) D’Angelo. She was educated in Italy and immigrated to the United States when she was 18.

She was employed in the cafeteria of the former Msgr. Geno Monti Parochial Grade School, Farrell. Elizabeth was highly involved in the school and its activities, especially the carnivale.

A devout Catholic, Elizabeth was a faithful member of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Farrell, where she was proud to be one of the “Cavatelli Ladies.”

Her husband, Frank J. Busco, whom she married on August 23, 1980, passed away on March 7, 2021. They loved to dance together and spent many weekends dancing with their friends.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Paglia; and three younger brothers, Luigi, Gabriel and Guisseppe “Joe” D’Angelo.

The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to Our Lady of Fatima Church, 601 Roemer Blvd., Farrell, PA 16121.

All services are private. 

Interment: St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Hermitage.
