Eleanor Mae Pompelia Fetsko, 1092 Haig St., Sharon, passed away peacefully of natural causes at 6:00 a.m. Monday (6-20-11) in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System. She was 88.
She was born on October 2, 1922, in Dayton, Pa., the daughter of Frank J. and Sarah Lewis Enterline.
She graduated from the Dayton Vocational High School in 1940.
Eleanor worked for the Sharon City School District in their High School Cafeteria in the 1970's and 1980's.
A homemaker, she belonged to St .Stanislaus Kostka Church, Sharon.
Her first husband Samuel J. Pompelia whom she married on February 26, 1944, passed away on September 12, 1979. Her second husband John J. 'Hank' Fetsko whom she married on August 27, 1988, passed away on December 12, 1995.
She is survived by her son Samuel B. Pompelia and his wife Bernadine, Sharon, and her daughter, Marcia Pompelia Brown and her husband Alfred, Rochester, NY; four grandchildren, Nicholas Pompelia, Lena Devinney, and Adam and Samantha Brown, and three great grandchildren, Brent, Kyle, and Allison Devinney. Eleanor was also loved by family and friends in Rochester, New York.
In addition to her two husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Jean Marts, Rita Groff, and two brothers, Elder and Lee Enterline.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Stanislaus Kostka Church 370 Spruce Ave., Sharon, Pa, 16146.

Services: Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday (6-25-11) at 11:00 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church with Rev. Stanley J. Swacha, pastor as celebrant.
