Eleanor Ann Daniels, 84, formerly of Farrell, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020, in Clepper Manor, Sharon.

Mrs. Daniels was born April 20, 1936, in Sharon, a daughter of the late John Matthews and Gladys (Griffith) Matthews Wimer. She was a 1954 graduate of Farrell High School.

She was employed at the former Howell Industries, later known as Oxford Industries, Masury, OH. She began in 1972 as a welder and retired in 1998. Previously, she was employed at the former Sharon Store.

Her husband Robert Thomas Daniels, whom she married March 9, 1957, passed away July 22, 2002.

She was extremely family oriented and looked forward to babysitting her grandchildren and granddog. Earlier in her life, she enjoyed reading, bowling and gardening, especially tending to her flower beds.

She is survived by two daughters, Janine Daniels, of Sharon, and Holly Swogger and her husband David, of Sharpsville; three sons, John Daniels and his wife Connie, of Mercer, Robert Daniels, of Sharon, and Dennis Daniels, of Texas; five grandchildren, Erica Johnson, Joshua and Matthew Daniels, and Laura and Megan Swogger; six great grandchildren, Seth and Orin Johnson, Jack, Osric, Eleanor and Kenza Daniels; many cousin in throughout Pennsylvania and Ohio; and a niece and extended family in Michigan.

In addition to her parents and husband, Eleanor was preceded in death by a sister, Janet (Matthews) Dull; and a grandson, Erik Johnson.
