Edward J. Patrick

Edward J. Patrick, 77, of Hermitage, passed away peacefully on Wednesday afternoon, October 21, 2026, in Kadima Rehabilitation & Nursing in Greenville.

Mr. Patrick was born on October 16, 1949, in Sharon, a son of the late Edward J. Patrick and Anna Mae (McEachern) Persch. He attended West Middlesex High School.

Edward retired after many years of service with Mercer County Community Transit.

He always kept his truck in pristine condition and enjoyed driving around.

Edward is survived by his sister, Diann Smonik, of Greenville; two nephews, Justin Gartner and his wife, Katelyn, of Mars, and Chris Yevchak and his wife, Julie, of York, SC.; and two nieces, Melanie Valenly and her husband, Ryan, of Greenville, and Lisa Whitehair and her husband, Ken, of Hermitage.

In addition to his parents, Edward was preceded in death by his sister, Colleen Patrick.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 30, 2026, in Morefield Cemetery.
