Obituary

A Divine Liturgy will be celebrated Tuesday for Edward J. Parimuha, Hermitage, who passed away at 7:35 a.m. Saturday (7-7-12) in UPMC Horizon, Farrell. He was 71.

Mr. Parimuha was born Sept. 7, 1940, in Sharon, a son of the late Andrew and Mary Uhlar Parimuha.

He was a 1960 graduate of Sharon High School and received a bachelor's degree in business management from Youngstown State University.

Ed was employed by Valley Mold in Hubbard while attending college and later worked in a supervisory position at the former LTV and J&L Steel companies. Ed was a certified financial planner and worked at a bank in New Wilmington as well as at a Youngstown bank. He retired from Walmart in Hermitage after more than 10 years of service.

Ed was a member of St. John's Carpathian Russian Orthodox Church, Sharon; and a social member of the Hickory VFW, Hermitage. An outdoorsman, he was an avid hunter and fisherman and a member of the NRA. He enjoyed military aircraft and attending air shows.

Surviving are: two sons, Edward Michael Parimuha and Jeffrey Daniel Parimuha; and a grandson, Cody Parimuha, all Navarre, Fla.; a brother, Alex Parimuha, Farrell; several nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Helen Parimuha, Hermitage.

Besides his parents, Ed was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Fleischer; and three brothers, Michael Parimuha, Andrew Parimuha and John Parimuha, who was killed in World War II.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. John's Carpathian Russian Orthodox Church, 725 Cedar Ave., Sharon, PA 16146.
