Edward Hoye Jordan, of South Pymatuning Twp., passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023, in Sharon Regional Medical Center. He was 92.

Mr. Jordan was born on July 26, 1930, in Fredonia, a son of the late Hoye James and Mariah (Van Woert) Jordan.

His wife of 65 years, the former Patricia Lyons, whom he married on July 2, 1951, in the former Sacred Heart Church, Sharon, passed away on November 5, 2016.

Ed was a lifetime member of the former Sacred Heart Church.

He was employed for ten years at the former Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corp. Later, he became a barber and for 55 years owned and operated shops in various locations throughout the Shenango Valley.

Antique cars were a passion for both Ed and his wife. They enjoyed the camaraderie of the Shenango Valley Antique Automobile Club, which was founded in Jordan's Barbershop around 1972. Throughout the years, they made lifelong friends at car shows and cruises.

Left to cherish his memory are two sons, Jim (Melanie) Jordan, Vienna, OH, and Dan (Pam) Jordan, Burghill, OH; two grandchildren, Adam (Ljubica) Jordan and Mackenzie (Jay) Holmes; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Cathy Jordan-McCright-Reid.

In addition to his parents and wife, Ed was preceded in death by three brothers, Arthur, Glenn and Regis Jordan.
