Obituary

Edward "Ted" Fisher, 62, of Transfer passed away unexpectedly early Monday morning, January 29, 2024, at his residence.

Mr. Fisher was born July 5, 1961, in New York, and was the son of Charels and Janice (Zimmer) Fisher. He was a 1979 graduate of Sharon High School and completed an Electronic Technician training program in Pittsburgh, PA.

For several years, Ted worked as a technician for M and G Vending Services, Brookfield, OH. He and his wife, Cathi, also owned and operated Valley Trophy and Hobby in Transfer, PA.

Ted was of the Catholic faith.

An avid pool player, he served as the administrator for the Penn-Ohio Pool and Dart League for many years. Ted also enjoyed fishing.

His wife of 21 years, Cathi (Ference) Fisher, whom he married November 16, 2002, survives at home.

Also surviving are his daughter, Leanne Fisher, Pittsburgh, PA; a stepson, Johnmichael Bohach, Pittsburgh, PA; a sister, Sharon Wolfgang (William), Point of Rocks, MD; a brother, Timothy Fisher (Rosette), Myrtle Beach, SC; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ted was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Michelle Gaffney.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday (2-2-24) in St. Rose Cemetery Chapel, Dutch Lane, Hermitage, with Levi Bowser, officiating.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.
