Eamonn W. Berland of 455 McCleery St., Sharon, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Hermitage, PA. He was 29.

Mr. Berland was born in Hamilton, Ontario on April 16, 1982, a son of Kevin and Evelyn Holland Berland.

He attended Sharon High School. Eamonn enjoyed watching movies and music and was very knowledgeable about both. He loved animals, especially dogs. Mr. Berland was an excellent cook and had a wonderful sense of humor that made everyone smile.

He is survived by, his mother, Evelyn Berland of Sharon, PA; his father, Kevin Berland and his wife Rebecca Shapiro of Jersey City, NJ; a sister, Rosa Berland and her husband Steven Leible of Brooklyn, NY; a brother, Aleksandr Berland of Toronto, ON; a niece, Bianca Leible; maternal grandmother, Ruth Vawter of Regina, Saskatchewan; paternal grandparents, Alwyn and Jayne Berland of Toronto, ON.

Eamonn was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ernest Holland.

Calling hours will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, June 6, 2011 in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 1090 E. State St. Sharon, PA 16146.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, June 6, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
