Douglas Baker, 68, of Sharpsville, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
Mr. Baker was born March 3, 1957, in Sharon, a son of the late Stephen Baker. A lifelong area resident, he graduated from Sharon High School in 1975.
His loving wife, the former Maryann Barca, whom he married on December 22, 1978, survives at home.
Douglas was a member of Grace Chapel Community Church.
He retired after working many years at Wheatland Tube. Douglas had a passion for bowling, fishing, and watching NASCAR.
In addition to his wife, Douglas is survived by his mother, Cleo Baker-Myers; a daughter, Susan Baker (Jonathon); a son, Scott Baker (Marissa); three sisters, Paula Demateo, Stephanie Baker, and Heather Porterfield; three brothers, Stephen, Gordon, and Patrick Baker; four grandchildren, Riley, Myah, Devyn, and Aubrey; and a great-granddaughter, Gianna.
Calling hours will be 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday (01/21/2026) in Grace Chapel Community Church, 4075 Lamor Rd., Hermitage.
Funeral service will immediately follow at 12 p.m. Wednesday, in the church, with Rev. Aaron Lego, officiating.
