Dorothy May Arduini, 500 Clarksville Road, Hermitage, passed away at 12:55 a.m., Wednesday, (4- 18-12) in Nugent Convalescent Home, Hermitage following an extended illness. She was 83.
She was born April 24, 1928 in Rowlesburg, W.Va., the daughter of the late John Thomas and Lulu Ellen Teets Adams.
She attended schools in Rowlesburg.
She was a homemaker and worked for 17 years as a custodial worker for St. Joseph's School, Sharon.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Dorothy enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and for many years looked forward to her weekly game of bingo. She was an excellent cook and baker and found great joy in her pets. She leaves behind her dog Lady.
Her husband, Henry E. Arduini, Sr., whom she married June 4, 1951, passed away March 15, 1978.
She is survived by two sons, Henry E. Arduini, Jr. and his wife N. Robin Arduini, Brookfield, and Robert A. 'Tony' Arduini, Sharon; two granddaughters, Christina Powell and her husband Lucas and Melinda Rowe and her husband James; two great grandchildren, Mikel and Samantha Russell, and a stepgreatgranddaughter, Brooke Powell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Ellen Arduini; six brothers, Ronald, James, John, Robert, William and Richard Adams, and a sister, Katherine V. Wilson.
