Doris Marie Moyer Schuller, formerly of Penn Ave., Sharon, passed away at 7:00 a.m. Monday (11-30-09) in Clepper Manor, Sharon. She was 86.
Doris was born May 18, 1923 in Butler, PA a daughter of the late Florence Christy Deary and Floyd Donaldson.
She was educated in Butler and moved to the area in the 1960's.
Doris owned and operated a Personal Care Home for the Elderly on Downing Lane for many years and retired in 1998.
She was a fantastic cook and gardener and enjoyed fishing and bird watching. She loved spending time outdoors with family, surrounded by the beautiful flowers she grew. She loved her family and was very generous with them. She never took for granted the beauty of nature or the joy of laughter, shared with those she loved. She will be missed dearly.
Surviving are: A daughter, Joann Nuzzulo and her husband John, Atlanta, GA; a son, Barry Moyer, Washington D.C.; two sisters, Jean Michaels and Beverly Morey, both Sharon; three granddaughters and their husbands, Kimberly and Stanley Huggins, Jamie and Kevin Shannon and Mary Beth and Mark Ritthaler; six great grandchildren, Jack and Carly Huggins; Katie and Matthew Ritthaler; and Quinn and Keenan Shannon; two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Donaldson, Clarion, PA; and Anne Donaldson, Beckley, West Virginia, and many adored nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Doris was preceded in death by three brothers, Leslie, Kenneth and Jack Donaldson.
