Doris "Dee Dee" M. Salatino, Sharon, passed away at 7:43 a.m. Monday, May 25, 2015, in Garden Way Place, Hermitage, where she was a resident for the past two months. She was 84. Mrs. Salatino was born Dec. 23, 1930, in Farrell, a daughter of Charles E. and Mary Denamen McEndree. She was a lifelong area resident and a 1948 graduate of Farrell High School. Dee Dee was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Fatima-St. Ann Church, Farrell. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, bingo and attending the senior programs at Shenango Valley Multi-Service Center, Hermitage, and Salvation Army, Sharon. Her husband, Patsy J. Salatino, whom she married July 9, 1956, passed away July 19, 1986. Surviving are: a stepdaughter, Sharilyn Ray and her husband, James, and their family; and two nieces, Luzette A. Cseplo and her husband, Stephen P., Atlanta, and Raven M. Turner and her daughter, Sidney Turner-Holley, both Myrtle Beach, S.C. Besides her husband, Dee Dee was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Betty Turner.
