Obituary
Doris J. Kendzor, 86, of Sharon passed away at 12:26 p.m. Thursday, August 16, 2018, in Sharon Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Kendzor was born May 29, 1932, in Masury, a daughter of the late Guy and Dorothy (Dawson) Litman. She was a lifelong area resident and a 1950 graduate of Brookfield High School. Doris retired from Tully's in downtown Sharon where she was employed for 17 years and previously worked at John Schuster Steak House in Brookfield.
A homemaker, she was a member of the former Church of the Sacred Heart, Sharon. Doris was a member of a card club and enjoyed swimming and bingo. Her husband, Leonard W. Kendzor, whom she married in 1951, passed away in 1984.
Surviving are: three daughters, Evelyn Kroko and her husband Dennis, of Tustin, CA; Marilyn McKelvey and her husband Jimmy, of Sharon; and Maribeth Dunn, of Wheatland; four sons, Jim Kendzor and his wife Susan; Alan Kendzor, Steve Kendzor and Lenny Kendzor and his companion Kathy Faber, all of Sharon; eleven grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. She also leaves a brother, James W. "Bill" Litman and his wife Aggie, of Brookfield; a sister-in-law, Pat Litman, of Masury; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, Doris was preceded in death by two daughters, Elaine Kendzor and Dorothy "Dot" Kendzor Soria; three brothers, Thomas, Robert and Ralph Litman; a sister, Dorothy Tucker; and a son-in-law, Jimmy Dunn.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, August 19, 2018, in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, August 20, 2018, in St. Joseph Church, Sharon, with Rev. Thomas Whitman, pastor, as celebrant.
Interment: St. Mary's Cemetery, Hermitage.
