Obituary
Donna M. Yurich, formerly of Whispering Oaks, Hermitage, passed away at
3 p.m.
Thursday, January 5, 2017, in Nugent Convalescent Home, Hermitage, following an extended illness. She was 84.
Donna was born October 16, 1932, in Sharon, a daughter of George Robert and Mary Margaret Croft Burke. She was a 1950 graduate of Sharon High School and was a lifelong area resident. Donna retired from the former Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corporation where she worked in the office for 33 years.
Following her retirement, she worked part time as a sales associate for Sears' in the Shenango Valley Mall, Hermitage.
Donna was a member of the Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage.
She loved playing bingo, particularly at the Sharon American Legion, and playing euchre with family and friends.
Surviving is her husband of 53 years, Michael Yurich, who resides at Whispering Oaks in Hermitage.
She also leaves a brother-in-law, John Smock, Hermitage; two sisters-in-law, Jean Burke and JoAnn Burke, both Sharon; and several nieces and nephews.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Susan Smock; and two brothers, Thomas and Robert Burke.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
There are no calling hours.
A private service will be held for the family.
Entombment: St. Rose Cemetery Mausoleum, Hermitage.
