Donna F. Egercic, Farrell, passed away peacefully at
9:20 a.m.
Sunday
(3-20-16) at her residence following an extended illness. She was 77.
Donna was born November 26, 1938 in Meadville, Pa., the daughter of Norman and Sylvia Guadagni Keeler.
She attended Farrell schools.
At one time she was employed by Goldstein's Furniture, Sharon.
A homemaker, she belonged to St. Anthony's Church, Sharon.
Donna was the first women elected to the Farrell City Council and she also served on the Farrell City Redevelopment Authority.
She was a charter member of the Farrell
Kiwaniannes
Club.
She enjoyed cooking and baking and in past years had entered dishes into the annual Sharon Herald cooking contest; she also served as one of the contest judges.
Her husband Frank Thomas Egercic whom she married September 14, 1957 survives at home.
Also surviving are her daughter Danielle Egercic, Farrell, Three sons, James Egercic , Liberty, Oh, Timothy Egercic, Las Vegas, NV, and Sean Egercic, Farrell, three sisters, Judy Emerich and her husband William, Phoenix, AZ, Georgia Thacker and her husband Larry, Phoenix,AZ, Ramona Burich and her husband Robert Talbot, Mill Valley, Ca., two brothers, Donald "Butch" Keeler, Wheatland, and Randy Burich, Phoenix, AZ, three grandchildren, Brandon Egercic, Katelyn Hatton, and Sarah Egercic.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Norman Keeler.
