Obituary
Donald Robert McComb, 64, of New Castle passed away the evening of Friday, Nov. 10, 2017, at Brighton Rehab and Wellness Center in Beaver, Pa.
Born April 28, 1953, in New Castle, he was the son of the late Thomas H. and Marjorie McCleery McComb.
Donald was a 1971 graduate of New Castle High School and Lawrence County Vo-Tech. He was employed as a welder for 19 years at the former City Welding Co. and later at various other welding shops.
Donald was a member of American Legion Post 432, Wheatland.
He is survived by his former wife, Mary McComb of New Castle; three sisters, Adelaide Roberts and Marcia Hall, both of Edinburg, Pa., and Terry Herman of Boardman, Ohio. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Thomas and Arthur McComb; and his dog, Chubby.
There are no services planned. A private burial will take place in Graceland Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 111 W. Falls St., New Castle
