Obituary
Dominic J. Stoga, 83, of New Castle, passed away at his home on Wednesday December 28, 2011.
Dominic was born in Ellwood City on February 15, 1928 to the late Felix and Helen Bukus Stoga.
After graduating from Shenango High School, he entered the U.S. Air Force and was discharged as a 2nd lieutenant. Dominic also attended classes at Youngstown State University for computer science.
He retired in 1990 from Rockwell International where he was employed in the Forging Dept. for over twenty six years.
Dominic enjoyed doing carpentry work, going fishing and gardening.
He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker church.
He is survived by his companion of twenty six years, Marian R. Burke of New Castle, one daughter, Debbie D. Stoga, of Butler.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Mary Houck ,Josephine Burkot and Helen Graham, two brothers, Alick F. and John E. Stoga.
Visitation will be held from 11 to 1 p.m. Monday at the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, 111 W. Falls St.
A Blessing service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. by the Rev. Victor J. Molka Jr.
Interment will follow in Castle View Memorial Gardens.
