Dolores A. Servetnick, 89, a longtime resident of Penn Hills, PA, passed away peacefully Monday afternoon, May 12, 2025, in St. John XXIII Home, Hermitage.

Mrs. Servetnick was born August 12, 1935, in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of the late John B. and Anna (Coffen) Dalsass. She was a 1953 graduate of Peabody High School in the East Liberty neighborhood of Pittsburgh, PA.

Dolores was a dedicated homemaker who always put the needs of family prior to her own. She enjoyed sewing and gardening.

Dolores was a member of the First Reformed Presbyterian Church in Penn Hills, PA.

Her husband of 57 years, John R. Servetnick, whom she married June 16, 1956, preceded her in death on July 11, 2013.

Dolores is survived by a daughter, Joyce Carolas and her husband, Frank, of Mercer, PA; a son, Dale Servetnick, of Waldorf, MD; four grandchildren, Melissa D'Angelo and her husband, Dave, of Darlington, PA, Peter Carolas and his wife, June, of Zelienople, PA, Alex Servetnick and Candace Servetnick, both of Waldorf, MD; three great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Caleb, and Joshua D'Angelo; a sister, Joanne Dalsass, of Bend, OR; and several nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Dolores was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Orchowski; and a brother, Daniel Dalsass.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff and nurses of St. John XXIII Home in Hermitage for their exceptional kindness and care.

Per her wishes, there will be no calling hours and a funeral service will be held privately by the family.
