Dolores June Rossi, Sharpsville, passed away peacefully at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday (4-12-16) in Clepper Convalescent Home, Sharon, following an extended illness. She was 84.
Dolores was born June 1, 1931 in Sharon, one of eleven children born to Hiram and Evelyn Nolan Means.
A lifelong area resident she was a member of Sharpsville High Schools graduating class of 1949.
Dolores was a homemaker and belonged to St. Bartholomew Church, Sharpsville.
She enjoyed baking, playing cards with her card club, and in years past she loved to go camping with her family.
Her husband Angelo J. Rossi whom she married on June 10, 1950, passed away December 12, 2003.
She is survived by her son, Joseph P. Rossi and his wife Amy, South Pymatuning Twp., three sisters, Laverne Newton, Mercer, Carol Haun, Orangeburg SC, Beverly Morris and her husband Richard, Newnan, Ga., Harry Means and his wife Barb, Sandy Lake, her two grandchildren, Keeley Leesburg, Va, and Matthew Rossi, Moon Township area of Pittsburgh.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles "Chuck", Gene, Lee, and Earl, two sisters, Shirley and Sandy, and an infant daughter, Lisa Marie.

Calling hours and services: Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. 1090 E. State St. Sharon.
Internment: St. Rose Cemetery, Hermitage.
