Diane duMaire

Nov. 7, 1947 – May 4, 2019

Waterford, VT: Diane duMaire, loving wife, mother, grandmother, passed into the hands of our Eternal Father on May 4, 2019, after suffering a severe stroke on April 15 from which she never regained consciousness.

Diane was born in Sharon, PA to Paul & Mary (Mastroianni) DeMaio who predeceased her, and graduated from Sharon Senior High School – Class of 1965.

She married Robert F. duMaire and together they raised two sons, Todd and Robert J duMaire who reside in El Paso, TX.  She is survived also by two grandchildren, Karah and Vincent.

Together, the family lived in several locations including St. Louis, MO, and El Paso, TX, until settling in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont in 1988.

Diane was employed by Parkway Realty and later Begin Realty Associates. She then retired to a life of reading, cooking, gardening, and meticulously tending to her home in Waterford.
An avid reader, Diane was also a devoted Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins fan.

There will be no calling hours.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday (5-11-19) in St. Rose Cemetery Chapel, 779 Dutch Ln., Hermitage, with Rev. Thomas Whitman, as celebrant.

Interment: St. Rose Cemetery, Hermitage.
