Derron "D-Ward" Scott Ward, Sr., 3489 Saranac Dr., Sharpsville, PA, passed away at
4:43 p.m.
Saturday, July 1, 2017, in Cancer Center of America, Philadelphia, PA. He was 43.
D-Ward was born November 2, 1973, in Sharon, a son of Dale and Conni (Coloutes) Ward. He moved to Ohio as a child and graduated from Garfield High School, Akron, Ohio. He was employed as a production coordinator for Commercial Metal Forming, Youngstown, Ohio. D-Ward attended Victory Christian Center, Coitsville, Ohio. His first love was spending time with his family. He also enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and was a member of the Boogie Down Motorcycle Club. D-Ward was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Cavilers.
Surviving are: his wife, Brandy (Currie) Ward, whom he married March 14, 2015; his mother, Conni Shaeffer and her husband Michael Shaeffer, Sr., Akron, Ohio; his father, Dale Ward and his wife Lauriethel, Hermitage; his children, Brandon Ward, Sr., Bre'laun Ward, Derron S. Ward, Jr., Destinee Ward, Daisha Ward, Dyllan Hopson, Brandon Hopson, Tai'Von Strickland, Tai'Don Strickland, Dorean Cain, Dey'Mar Cain, Dayondra Campbell and Dante Campbell; siblings, Autumne Shaeffer and Michelle Curry and her husband Rob, all Akron; Mariya Shaeffer, Atlanta; Michael Shaeffer, Jr., Columbus, Ohio; Tiffany Wilson, Pittsburgh; and Janeen Hall, Farrell; his paternal grandparents, Ulysses and Frances Ward, Masury, Ohio; his maternal grandmother, Connie Coloutes, Columbus, Ohio; his mother-in-law, Sherry Kriebel and her husband Kenneth, Wheatland; and four grandchildren.
D-Ward was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Leonard Coloutes, Sr.; and an uncle, Leonard Coloutes, Jr.
D-Ward touched many lives and will be deeply missed by many.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.

Funeral service will be at
