In loving memory of Paul Dennis Cheza
May 25, 1942 – December 2, 2016
Denny Cheza, one of Farrell's golden hearts, is now dancing with the angels.
He was a lifelong resident of the Shenango Valley and active alumni of Farrell High School's class of 60'.
Denny served in the U.S. Navy and worked in the automobile industry for much of his career.
Throughout his life he was an avid dancer and music enthusiast who in later years became involved in many music and entertainment productions.
Denny volunteered at the Buhl Community Recreation Center, co-produced an educational language program for children, and coached little league baseball when his sons were young. He was also a sports enthusiast who enjoyed basketball, baseball, football, water skiing, snow skiing, biking, and more.
Most importantly, Denny was a beloved father who dedicated himself unconditionally to helping his two sons find and pursue their true passions in life.
Surviving are his two sons, Kyle Cheza and Keelan Cheza.
Denny was preceded in death by his mother, Pauline Cheza and brother, John Balaska.
An initial prayer service and gathering of family and friends will be held next week with time and place to be announced.
In the spring or summer of 2017, a more extensive tribute and celebration of Denny's life will be organized with time and place to be announced.
