Dennis Lee Harhager, 79, of Sharon passed away late Friday evening, March 22, 2024, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Mr. Harhager was born May 4, 1944, in Sharon, a son of the late Edward and Dorothy (Wilson) Harhager. A lifelong area resident, he graduated from Sharon High School in 1962 and attended Penn State University, Shenango Valley Campus.

A self-employed plumber, Dennis was a member of UA Local 449 Steamfitters, Harmony, PA, and completed projects throughout the Shenango Valley and Western Pennsylvania.

A man with many interests, Dennis always maintained a healthy lifestyle by lifting weights and taking walks through Buhl Park, Hermitage. He was also an avid reader who enjoyed gardening, working on cars, and home improvement projects.

His longtime companion of more than 30 years, Angela Horvath, survives at their home in Sharon.

Dennis is also survived by a son, Brian Harhager, York, PA; two granddaughters, Madison Harhager, York, PA, and Samantha Harhager Fake (Dan), Windsor, PA; two brothers, Doug Poskevich and Dan Poskevich; two sisters, Deb Yokubeak (Dave) and Darlene Philips (Mark); and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by two brothers, David Harhager and Dale Harhager; and a sister, Diane McClish.
