Dennis Gregory, 84, of Sharon passed away peacefully Thursday morning, October 4, 2018, in Clepper Manor CCRC, Sharon.

Mr. Gregory was born January 11, 1934, in Johnetta, KY, a son of the late Lee A. and Birdie Mae (Miller) Gregory. He attended schools in Johnetta and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Korean Era.

Dennis retired in 1992 from Sharon Steel's former Sharon plant where he worked as a mill wright for 28 years. During his retirement, he owned and operated a repair shop servicing residential and commercial sewing machines.

For many years, Dennis talked to thousands of people around the globe on his CB and HAM radios, and at one time was a licensed exam proctor for CB and HAM radio operation. He enjoyed photography, particularly capturing photos of his beloved grandchildren. He also enjoyed spending time on his computer and taking morning runs through the park.

His beloved wife of 62 years, the former Donna Fette, whom he married May 7, 1955, passed away November 29, 2017.

Surviving are: four sons, Dennis (Pam) Gregory, La Porte, IN, Marvin (Joan) Gregory, Hermitage, Michael Gregory, Greenville, and Robert (Barb) Gregory, Austin, TX; a daughter-in-law, Doreen Gregory, Masury; two sisters, Opal (Denver) Allen and Mildred (Walter) Sullender, all of Hamilton, OH; 14 grandchildren; and 32 great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, Dennis was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Lee Gregory, Sr.; a daughter-in-law, Susan Gregory; a sister, Pauline Gregory; and four brothers, Amos, Orville, Edgar and Lee A. Gregory.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Grace Chapel Community Church, 4075 Lamor Rd, Hermitage, PA 16148.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday (10-10-18) at The Buhl Chapel in Oakwood Cemetery, 600 N Oakland Ave, Sharon, PA, with Aaron Lego, pastor of Grace Chapel Community Church, officiating.

Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage.
