Dennis Joseph Cheplick

Dennis Joseph Cheplick, 72, of Greenville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, in UPMC Horizon Hospital, Greenville.

Mr. Cheplick was born on April 16, 1954, in Sharon, a son of the late Joseph Carl and Theresa Stephanie (Maciejewski) Cheplick. He was a 1972 graduate of Hickory High School.

Music was his passion. He was an accomplished 12th string guitarist aficionado, publishing several CDs. His music could be heard from local radio stations to international commercial advertisements as background recorded music.

Dennis also had a passion for outdoors and recreational time spent at the cabins of Pymatuning State Park.

Dennis married later and life, but found his soulmate in his wife, Angela, whom he married on September 5, 2000. Together they enjoyed cooking and making Denny’s beloved stuffed cabbage, a traditional family recipe.

He is survived by his wife at home; two brothers, James Mark Cheplick, of Salt Lake City, UT, and Dr. Gregory Paul Cheplick and his wife Polly, of East Meredith, NY; and one niece and one nephew.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday (10/20/2026) in St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 85 N. High St., Greenville, PA, with Rev. Thomas Trocchio, pastor as celebrant.
